A solid precision-ground motor mount is provided for the direct drive Saw motor. The motor mount has
4 circulating bearing blocks that attach to a pair of linear bearings. This is how the motor and blade
track perfectly straight up and straight down virtually friction free through the cutting cycle. Notice

Besides moving the saw blade along linear bearings, the top clamp also uses linear bearings for perfect
tracking to prevent part movement that otherwise occurs if a guard does not contact the material at 90
degrees to the table. A separate air piston drives the top clamp so that speed and pressure can be set
independent of the saw cut cycle.
